In Briscola, the players draw three cards and replenish their hands by drawing from a stock at the end of each trick. The rais of each team can ask questions to his or her partners and direct the game. The rais' questions and orders are identical to those in four-player and six-player Briscola, except for the fact that the players are not allowed to speak. The rais is the only player who can speak in the game.
